SURPRISE, Ariz., July 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Surprise Honda announced today the pending completion of its 55,000-square foot, state-of-the-art Honda dealership. Spanning 10 acres in the 303 Autoshow at Prasada, the dealership is located at 13270 N. Autoshow Ave., Surprise, AZ. Scheduled to open mid-August, the new location is expected to grow Honda's presence in the greater Phoenix market and add approximately 65 new jobs in the Surprise community.
Surprise Honda will offer new and used car sales, as well as a large service area. While waiting for their vehicle, customers will be able to enjoy the comfortable customer lounge with separate customer work stations and kids' play area. Customers will also be able to view their vehicle being serviced, while enjoying amenities like a state-of-the-art golf simulator, putting green and two manicure stations. Numerous, large flat-screen TVs, wireless internet and snacks and refreshments will also be available.
While helping the Surprise economy, Surprise Honda will also contribute to the area's sustainability efforts by complying with the latest water quality treatment standards. Surprise Honda will have a water recycling system car wash, as well as lighting and mechanical systems controlled by motion sensors and timers to minimize energy waste.
Other environmental highlights include:
- Use of recycled materials: drywall, ceiling tiles, carpet, paint, steel and aluminum, along with sustainable asphalt paving systems
- Reflective ceiling material to keep the building cool and thermostatically controlled; energy efficient mechanical systems for heating and cooling
- Drought-tolerant landscaping to conserve water
